Seuss-tastic Readers and Green Eggs

On Friday our class was visited by two very special readers.  One of the visitors was the President of the Student Council, Jessica.  The other visitor was my oldest son, dressed up like "The Cat in the Hat".  They came to read "The Cat in the Hat" to my class.  They were a great pair.  Here are some pictures!

Also, I wanted to share a game that I made for my students to help them count pennies.  I cut "eggs" out of construction paper.  Then I glued paper pennies onto the back and laminated them.  To play the game, the students flip an egg over with a spatula and count the pennies.  THEY LOVED THIS!!!!
